Acerca del evento

Last year, the Frontline Communities Protection Coalition (FCP Coalition) helped to make Minnesota one of the few states to pass a comprehensive cumulative impacts law. The goal of this law is to address the long history of low-income and BIPOC communities bearing a disproportionate burden of pollution, which has led to some communities having significantly worse health issues than others. Passing this law was a huge step towards addressing environmental injustice, but in order to realize the goals of this law, we need Minnesotans across the state to understand cumulative impacts.

On Tuesday, January 28th, at 6 pm, the FCP Coalition is hosting a webinar to explain the basics of cumulative impacts, and how this law connects to all of our communities. This will be a great opportunity to learn about what cumulative impacts look like in your community, and how you can take action moving forward.
